At the start of 2019, we decided to look into buying a home. As renters for the past 20 years, the intensive process of homebuying was foreign to us. We knew the basics, but from talking to family and friends who had recently bought a home, we realized the importance of having a knowledgable realtor to guide you through the process.
We were so lucky to have been able to work with Eddy, her 20+ years of knowledge in the real estate field made us feel at ease. After getting pre-qualified, the home search began. Eddy was extremely patient with us; we had a budget that we wanted to stay under, a deadline, and a long list of expectations! The more homes we saw, the more we realized what we liked and did not like in a home.
After a little over two months into the home search, we had put in 3 offers. We could always count on Eddy's expertise and care to let us know if the home we were putting an offer on was going to be a good investment for us in the future in terms of an appraisal if we decided to sell later.
As our rental renewal deadline was fast approaching, we were beginning to think that we would have to rent for another year because we still hadn't found the right home. With only one week left Eddy sent us a list of homes she thought we would be interested in seeing, at this point, we were feeling less than optimistic that we would find our home in such a short amount of time. We felt like we had seen every home from Boca Raton to Lake Worth.
That weekend we found our home! A month later we closed, and we couldn't be happier with both our home and our experience with Eddy as our realtor. We will be recommending Eddy to all of our family, friends, co-workers, etc. Her expertise, professionalism, patience, and care were exactly the traits we were looking for in a realtor.
